Why I Started Panty Drop

Whether it’s demands from friends, family, or work, we can sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. When I started Panty Drop, I was working for a startup in San Francisco, and I had absolutely no time to do much of anything for myself. As you might imagine, shopping for underwear fell to the bottom of my to-do list.

Stay Effortlessly Sexy, and Make a Difference

We’re busy. Way to the bottom. I hadn’t shopped for underwear in … maybe 2 years? Some of my underwear had holes. It was all faded. Not to mention that I was also still wearing the same Victoria’s Secret PINK underwear that’d I’d been wearing since I was 18 years old. You know the kind that has terrible slogans like “Call Me” written on the front? Ugh.

But the truth is – a new pair of underwear can make us feel good about ourselves. It lightens our step, brightens our day, and makes us feel sexier, more dynamic, and readier to take on whatever challenge the world throws at us. Feeling good starts from the inside out, and that’s true when it comes to our clothing too. Underwear should be comfortable. You don’t want to notice it’s there. But it should also be pretty and make you feel special. When I neglected my underwear shopping, I was also neglecting a big part of what made me … well, me. A strong, dynamic female with aspirations to conquer the world. Or at least a small part of it.

So I started Panty Drop, an underwear subscription box for women. I wanted to take the work out of underwear shopping for women who were too busy to go to the store. I wanted to make it easy to feel sexy again. I also wanted to make the world a better place – one panty at a time. Which is why Panty Drop donates 1% of revenue, 1% of time, and 1% of our products to causes that promote women.
